Physiological and Emotional Responses to Couples’ Conflicts Study (PERCCS)
This study examines how romantic couples react to conflict, and the impact of conflict situations on physical, mental and relationship health. The MARSH Lab is currently seeking participants for Fall 2026, see below for more information on how to participate in this study.

Be 18 years old or older
Be in a romantic relationship for at least 1 year
Be able to come into the lab with your partner for about 2 hours

In a 2 hour lab visit to the Psychology Building at Miami University, you and your partner will complete a variety of questionnaires, wear physiological tracking devices, give saliva samples, and have conversations with your partner.

Both partners will have the opportunity to earn up to $20 each, or $40 per couple.
